Oil on canvas signed Auguste Cammissar (1873-1962) 70x56cm Auguste Cammissar, Alsatian painter and glass painter, was a professor at the school of decorative arts until 1940. He presented works at the 1900 universal exhibition, exhibited in Parisian galleries, in Europe and in the United States.
He received numerous large-scale orders for stained glass windows for public buildings in Alsace.
