African Bust Sculpture By Amos Okosun Odion

Beautiful large portrait sculpture in solid wood on a light wood base. Signed and dated by Nigerian sculptor AMOS OKOSUN ODION (1943). A very interesting work by the artist, who takes up certain codes of the African mask while modernizing it with a cubist treatment that is rare in his work and especially for the period.
