Large and fine Isfahan rug of Iranian origin, made of silk velvet on foundations: warps, weft and fringes in natural silk. Characterized by an ivory field decorated with scrolls of palmettes of stylized polychrome flowers surrounded by finely drawn foliage, framing a central floral medallion in the shape of a multicolored crenellated diamond.
