Temple ridge ornament known, depending on interpretations, as “Garuda” (Sanskrit: Eagle), mount of the god Vishnu or “Hong/Hamsa” (Thai: Hong /Sanskrit: Hamsa) representing the mythical bird or swan/goose, animal vehicle (vâhana) of the god Brahma. Thailand or Laos, beautiful example shaped by time, 17/18th century. Delivered with its white or black steel base, adjustable inclination of the shofa.
