"Giovanni Michelucci & Lariolux Table Lamp"
Giovanni Michelucci for Lariolux, ministerial lamp in polished chrome-plated steel, Italy, late 1940s/early 1950s. The lamp arm is fixed to its base by a ball joint with a locking ring, allowing for circular rotation; its reflector is tiltable. Uncommon, with its refined aesthetic and hints of Bauhaus style, it is reminiscent of Kaiser Idell productions. Maximum height 40 cm x reflector diameter 22 cm.
