A little history: Lighting manufacturer Fase was founded in Madrid in 1964 by industrial designer Pedro Martin. Martin sold his independently produced lamps to markets before successfully opening a factory in Torrejon de Ardoz on the outskirts of Madrid. Fase's early designs are considered modern and feature unusual combinations of metals such as chrome and steel, marble and wood in a range of vibrant colors. Fase creates many lamps with a decidedly modernist style. Works, the wiring on this product appears to be original and may therefore need to be replaced.
