Pretty patterns decorated with stylized vases, trees and flowers on a blue background. Circa 1920.These carpets are made by nomads from the plateaus of southwest Iran. They are knotted very densely for nomadic rugs. Their decoration is among the most interesting and varied of the carpets knotted by nomads. Typically, these rugs are deep blue and red.
It is an exceptional piece, even collectible, due to its design and colors.
