Afghan Kazak Rug flag

Object description :

"Afghan Kazak Rug"
Afghan design “kazak” rug handmade around 1950.
The style of these rugs, which imprints Russian geometric patterns, owes its beauty to its very warm, lively and harmonious tones.
The design does not always respect strict axial symmetry, which adds more charm.
Generally the Kazak rug is made up of three or four superimposed medallions in a hooked diamond shape. Mostly stone washed, these rugs then enjoy a beautiful shine. The Kazak carpet is in fact handmade by weavers using an ancestral method.
Strong and vibrant in color, they are made with high quality wool.
