Knife – Usa
USA Knife Exceptional knife whose white metal pommel (lead or tin?) is decorated with a man's head. The English import blade for the USA is signed “William Jacskon & Co / Sheaf Island Sheffie(ld)” and the signature is surmounted by a Masonic emblem. The handle, in good condition, is made of wood. The blade is slightly oxidized. This Civil War era knife most likely belonged to a Southerner.
