The handle of this spoon is carved with a female figure carrying her child on her back. She has her hands under her abdomen, while her child holds his hands under his chest. The latter is raised and drooping.
The mother is dressed in a black pigmented loincloth and a conical headdress, using the same pigmentation. Her oval face is marked by a slender nose and five short horizontal incisions representing the eyes, eyebrows, and mouth.
Her feet are enclosed in a cylindrical section forming the first notch of the spoon.
It ends with a wide, flat spoon bowl.
