Cardinal and Doctor of the Church, Saint Bonaventure died in Lyon in 1274. He remains one of the most important spiritual authors of Christianity.
“Man of action and contemplation, of great piety and prudence” said Benedict XVI of him.
He is represented here, full-length, in this diorama, in cardinal's outfit, alb, stole and priestly cope, staff and cardinal's headdress with the miter on the left and the red hat on the right.
A beautiful devotional set presented in a quality carved wooden frame with flower motifs.
