Faux Rosewood Painted Tin Coffee Grinder, Japy, Circa 1900, Superb Condition

Pretty cube grinder, lacquered tin, black lacquered interior, exterior like precious faux wood. It opens like a “snuff box”, by tilting mill on its hinged box base. Sides of cube are fluted, like half-dome on top, which also opens with hinged mouth for loading grains. Mechanics are from Japy, famous on period for its quality.
