Superb and rare alarm clock by Van Cleef and Arpels circa 1960. Cylindrical in shape, it is decorated on each side with a lapis lazuli plaque, just like the dial on which the sticks indicating the hours are applied. There is a date window at six o'clock, the mechanical movement has been completely serviced by a watchmaker and the alarm function works perfectly. The frame is in gold metal, 8-day mechanical movement, the dial signed Van Cleef & Arpels. High quality item bearing a large signature and in perfect working condition.
