Nineteenth Panel Painting By Petrus Augustus Beretta flag

Object description :

"Nineteenth Panel Painting By Petrus Augustus Beretta"
Superb oil painting on panel by Petrus Augustus Beretta. It represents a scene of urban life where we see boats moored at the quay in a city. The architecture is reminiscent of a city in Holland where the painter was born. The painting is very bright, full of details and very lively. It is presented in a period gilt wood frame. The painting is signed at the bottom left in the piece of wood that comes out of the water. Petrus Augustus Beretta painter and lithographer, born in Rotterdam 1805, died in The Hague 1866 Student of JB Van Hove and JW Pieneman, studied at the CBK Academy in The Hague.
