Sedan Chair With Putti, 18th Century.
Exceptional and rare sedan chair dating from the Regency period, first half of the 18th century, around 1720, of French origin. We present a remarkable sedan chair decorated with putti on all four sides. It is sculpted with women's heads, acanthus leaves and shells. A nail trim creating an elegant scroll pattern as well as its original Genoa velvet completes the decor. The windows are also from the period. Private collection. In good general condition (slots). Dimensions: h.174 cm x l.83 cm d.93 cm.
