Clément Castelli (1870 - 1959) Mendre of the society of mountain painters born in Italian Piedmont. He is therefore familiar with the Alps. He is one of the painters who traveled the mountain armed with their drawing boxes and paint boxes in order to capture the effects of light. He received a silver-gilt medal from the hands of King Victor-Emmanuel III of Italy. Academy officer in 1933. One of his paintings entered the Louvre in 1948.
