He entered the Beaux-Arts in Nancy where he had Camille Hilaire and Claude Weisbuch as classmates. HE continues his training at Atelier Jaudon in Paris. Numerous exhibitions in Paris and the provinces. After a stay in Brittany he was captivated by the landscape and the seaweed. Our watercolor dated 1956 was painted in Jaunay-Clan during a stay with friends who live in this town. Signed lower right: JM Couillard 1956. Embedded in the paper at the top left, without it being pierced.
