Important hexagonal display tray or polygonal, trapezoidal-shaped silent butler in glazed porcelain.
The well decorated with polychrome bouquets of natural flowers (Deutsche Blumen) and small flying insects on a white ground, centred by an openwork gilt medallion of scrolling foliage. The inner border is ornamented with a frieze of gilt foliate scrolls on a white ground, while the rim is edged with a broad cobalt-blue band featuring a Greek-key pattern in gilt.
