Pendulum, table clock partly in gilded ormolu bronze - shiny and opaque - partly with gray-green patina.
The steel dial with Roman numerals is surmounted by a character representing the "good savage" of America, in the style of Jean-Simon Deverberie's bronzes.
The clock dates from the first half of the 19th century, around 1830.
The mechanism - recently overhauled by a professional - has a 10-day charge and rings every half hour.
Pendulum is therefore in perfect working order, it has perfectly preserved gilding.
There is only one misalignment at the back, see the last two photos.
