Antique Pitcher, Refreshing Jug In Blown Baccarat Glass
Beautiful antique jug in blown glass from the Baccarat house, unmarked as it predates 1936.
The piece is distinguished by its highly original twisted handle and its rough surface texture, which gives a matte appearance and makes the contents subtly veiled. At the back of the handle lies a cleverly designed cavity intended to hold ice, allowing the drink to remain cool without dilution, in keeping with the function of a refreshing jug.
Condition: very good overall state. Only a very slight superficial chip on the rim is noted, perceptible to the touch but practically invisible to the naked eye (see last photo).
