Armchair in mahogany and mahogany veneer, Empire period, France, Early 19th century, Circa 1810-1815, front legs in the shape of lion shanks, rear saber legs, rolling armrests and rosettes resting on supports decorated with stylized lotus flowers. With its original strap trim and straw yellow silk in perfect condition. Beautiful model of armchair, although not stamped, typical of the productions of the famous carpenter in seats of the Emperor, Pierre-Benoit MARCION (see the photos in reference of similar seats bearing his stamp) Can be used alone as an office armchair.
