Oval hinged snuffbox entirely lined with gold.
The box is streaked all over with yellow and green gold strips and is bordered by a magnificent band with stylised scrolls and flowers.
The lid is surmounted by an oval medallion, also surrounded by a gold band, representing a putti in blue Roman dress preparing an offering under the gaze of an angelo with spread wings.
