Pair Of Ormolu Candlesticks With Palmette And Flowers
A pair of candlesticks in gilded and chiselled bronze, the stem adorned with a frieze of Greek waves separating the upper polished part from the lower part richly decorated with palmette, small flowers and gadroon. It is topped by a socket finely chiselled with flowery branches on matting background. Each candlestick rests on a circular base hightened with foliated scrolls, small flowers and water leaves.
