Louis XIV Gilt Bronze Sconces
Suite of four large Louis XIV style sconces in gilt bronze. On a wall plate in the shape of a lyre adorned with Louis XIV decorative attributes: shells, acanthus, foliage... three thick sconces decorated with flowers and plants, the cups and binets are also ornate. The gilding is in excellent condition, as are the bronze elements which show no flaws (no lack in the decorations and there has been no restoration!) Presence of a foundry mark: initial D G.
