A pair of Louis XIV period wall sconces in chased and gilt bronze, each with a single light arm. The partially openwork decoration features a profile of a man and woman in the antique style, surmounted by a five-leaf palmette with intertwined garlands and torches. The curved and counter-curved light arms support a gadrooned cup and a bobeche adorned with palmettes. The bobeche is molded in a shell shape and drilled for electricity.
