Sumptuous Regency style wall clock from the Napoleon III period signed "Balthazar à Paris". The cartel that we present presents a rich ornamentation of gilded bronze representing the king of the gods Zeus, then Chronos, father of the hours as well as the four seasons. It rests on four claw feet and decorated with two lions on the lower part. On either side of the cartel two caryatids complete the decor. It is provided with a rich Boulle marquetry in tortoiseshell and engraved net. Vast interior, also in Boulle marquetry as well as at the back. Private collection. Plan a complete restoration.
