"Empire Period Console Dressing Table, Early 19th Century;"

Empire period dressing table/console, circa 1805, early 19th century, original Parisian furniture. In very good condition. Dimensions: H. 154 cm x W. 84 cm x D. 44 cm. The dressing table/console we are presenting is made of mahogany and Cuban flame mahogany. It features a swiveling mirror and very fine gilt bronze mounts, including elegant, finely chased finials on either side of the mirror. Two small drawers are located on either side of the upper section of the table. The legs, two column-shaped and two pilaster-shaped, support a curved top. The interior of the central drawer contains an inkwell and pen holder. The top is made of white Sainte-Anne marble. A piece of great elegance.
