Veron Alexandre René is a French painter born in 1826 and died in 1897. Painter of the Barbizon school , follower of Daubigny. He was a pupil of Paul Delaroche and made his debut at the Salon of 1848. He devoted himself exclusively to landscape, and never exhibited anything else at the Salon for more than thirty years. The sites he most often sought were those of the forest of Fontainebleau. However he also painted in: Auvers-sur-Oise, Pontoise, Crécy-en-Brie, Senlis, Osny, Argenteuil, Asnières, St-Valéry-sur-Somme...
