Impressive Fireplace, Ca. 1775, Carrara Marble flag

Object description :

"Impressive Fireplace, Ca. 1775, Carrara Marble"
Monumental Chimney-piece, late 18th century. Dramatically sculpted in veined Arabescato marble. The important frieze is slightly more Baroque in character. The serpentine shelf rest above the undulating frieze, which is centered by a Rococo shell. The beautiful ends are supported by flamboyant panneled jambs, profoundly adorned by sinious foliate carvings. This fireplace is in a nearly pristine condition, wear consistent with age and use.
Fireplace will be delivered with original old marble floortiles, Carrara with Noir de Mazy, to make a frontfloor.  Antique Fireplaces First has also original decor foyer-tiles in stock, only needed if you go for a real open fire. Worldwide shippings. Deliveries in Europe can or will be done by Antique Fireplaces First, straight to your house.
