Trumeau Mirror And Half-moon Console Set, In Golden Wood - Late Nineteenth

The first component of this set is a Large Trumeau Mirror. Its frame is in Golden Wood, its Scalloped and Beaded Frame. Its upper part is, by definition, embellished with an Artistic element, here an Engraving in an Oval. The latter represents a Country Scene where, among many characters, stands out a Young Woman from behind and her Courtier. This decor is protected by a glass, bordered by a projecting frieze, and underlined by four foliated spandrels. The lower part of this Mirror offers an Important Mirror in Perfect Condition, topped with a Hanging Garland of Flowers. This Good is equipped with a ring necessary for its installation. The Narrowness of this Trumeau is Ideally adapted to the width of the Half-Moon Console on which it is presented. This piece of furniture is also made up of a Golden Wood structure. Its top is a Marble with Beige or even Orange colors, and Soft White veining, Reddish for the Finest of them. Its belt is nicely sculpted with a series of rosettes, linked by intertwined laces. We find in suspension a Garland almost identical to that of the Mirror, enriched with a Tassel in the center. This Console rests on two fluted uprights, linked to two feet turned by connecting dice with Fleurette motifs. These Legs are joined by a Curved Spacer, garnished in the middle with a Generous Bouquet Fleuri. Although it is possible to sell each of these items individually, we will appreciate the Harmonious ensemble formed by this Golden Trumeau and Console, which seem made for each other. ******** Period: Late 19th century Perfect condition after restoration.
