The central figure in bronze represents the famous portrait of Lorenzo de' Medici (1492-1519), Duke of Urbino, known as the Magnificent, made by Michelangelo (1475-1564) for the funeral chapel of the Medici, located in the Church San Lorenzo in Florence Italy.
