Beautiful winemaker's measure circa 1840, elegantly shaped half-decalitre, hammer-mounted, dovetailed, (visible behind the handle) it rests on a solid reinforced base, its handle is round, brazed and hollow, on the balutre of body, what is marked, in a rather rustic way: Demi-Decalitre, and, Cifre, a large spout flared and hemmed, notched, makes it possible to introduce the measure under the tap of barrel.Beautiful and large copper, indestructible, good quality and patina, a rather spectacular object of the French wine trades, elegant shape.
