Skippings Fine Arts

Skippings Fine Arts is run by Tamara de Poniatowska, a Cambridge University educated art historian. She has twenty years experience in buying, selling, researching and appraising art. Skippings specialises in 19th to mid 20th century pictures - impressionist, modernist, figurative and abstract - mostly with a French connection. We also occasionally present contemporary art and choice pieces of sculpture and non-European art. Genuine artefacts are never lifeless: they have the power to transform and brighten our lives and homes, and make us feel good. They can be a revelation. A work of art will resonate, connect with you, add to your life, in the way a friendship or a significant encounter does. This is what we aim to offer you.
