This baroque painting represents the nobility of society in front of a castle, ready to hunt. It was executed at the beginning of the 18th century and has been attributed to the completely identical composition and time of creation by the hand of the famous Flemish painter Ferdinandus Saeys or Jacob Ferdinand Saeys (1658 - after 1726). Saeys specialized in architectural paintings depicting gallant enterprises amid imaginary Renaissance and Baroque palaces and buildings.Literature: Prof.H.
