Sunset On The Sea By Eduard Kasparides (austrian 1858 - 1926) -attr.

A large impressionist coastal landscape at sunset, attributed to the famous Austrian landscape painter and portrait painter Eduard Kasparides (1858 - 1926). 1876-1884 the artist studies at the Academy of Vienna and under the tutelage of JMTrenkwald. Kasparides made study trips to Italy, Germany, Sweden and Russia. He was a member of the Artists Society and the Hagenbund (1900-1905), where he frequently exhibited his works. From 1899 Kasparides painted mainly impressionist landscapes, which also proves the painting offered. He received numerous international prizes and medailes and in 1932 became professor of the Vienna Artists' Unit.
