Moritz Ledeli is an Austrian painter of sport and genre, born in 1856 (died in 1920 in Vienna). The artist studied at the Academy of Vienna and made several study trips to Germany, France, England and the Netherlands. His main subjects were scenes from the life of people and the life of high society. Ledeli worked as an illustrator in "Illustrierten Zeitung" (Leipzig) and in other magazines.
