Very nice pair of andirons or fireplace front in gilded bronze and iron in the Louis XIII style. Classic model with marmosets in the lower part but out of the ordinary with fleur-de-lys at the top. The irons have been shortened and changed to expose them just in front of the fireplace. A removable bar in twisted bronze and fleur-de-lys protects against fire. Very good state.
