Best Sewing Machine Award, Singer, Silvered Bronze 1872
(Probably) Very rare item, possibly unique. It is an award, in silver-plated bronze, in the shape of a pot, nicely engraved with garlands and stylized flowers and a central medallion bearing the mention : Awarded to The Singer Manufacturing Company, for the best sewing machine, adapted to family & general purposes by The Tradegar Company Society, Newport, December 17th and 18th, 1872"
Two threads on the back, which one has been reinforced with pewter.

Excellent condition, no break, no flaw. The reward was probably fixed on a wooden plaque, now missing.
