"Frame For Louis XVI Style Miniature"
Lovely frame for miniature circa 1900 in Louis XVI style. Oval frame enhanced with two nets engraved around the edges, topped with a ribbon bow and flowers. Gilding with some scattered wear (see photos). Dimensions at sight: 5.4 cm X 6.6 cm. I attach to the frame a glass adapted to the rebate of the frame, as well as a strong cardboard, cut to the interior dimension of the frame serving as closure and attachment.
