Charming set including a pair of earrings and a brooch from the early 19th century, decorated with pastoral scenes in grisaille on a pink background. The pendant earrings are fitted with a silver "swan's neck" hook decorated on the front with 3 crimped pearls. Their central part, in an oval medallion, bears an enameled decoration in grisaille on a pink background of a young woman revealing her petticoat, strapping probably in gold at the bottom of the title surrounded by a frieze of pearls around the edge, added three pearls as pendants. Total height of the pendants (without the hook): 2.5 cm The brooch, also decorated with an enameled painting, represents a shepherdess leaning, at her feet, a wicker basket filled with flowers and a lying goat; hoop also in gold and frieze of pearls. A tiny chip of enamel on the pink background of the brooch in the upper part, less than 1 millimeter, barely visible (indicated by an arrow on a detailed macrophotograph). Strong and functional needle on the back. Hypothesis: this pretty adornment may be of English origin (reign of George III) or French in the Louis XVI style. Delivery: free for mainland France.
