Very rare TEKE scepter from the Congo Several fetishes mounted on bone (animal I suppose?) The eyes formed by buttons of panties feathers of birds on the top of the skull and fabrics allowing to connect the bone to the figurines of the cowries are placed on the bulging bellies which have the function of magic charges The scarified faces according to the Téké rite Old object with a beautiful patina This object must have belonged to someone of high rank, either a king, a sorcerer or a diviner I have never seen anything comparable neat shipment height 44cm
