Carved Bamboo Brush Pot, China
Finely carved brush pot decorated with figures helming junks on a rough sea, docking a bay lined with ginkgo, China, probably 19th century. This Bitong whose sculpted scene is in perfect condition is adorned with a superb old honey-coloured patina. Some slits visible in the photos, the bottom has been drilled for an electrical assembly.
