Polychrome wood Risen Christ, 17th century
Set on a rectangular stepped base, this statue depicts the Christ overcoming death by his Resurrection. His body shows a muscular shape and is pierced by a coup spear on the left side. He wears his shroud that winds around left arm and waist, and lifts his right hand in benediction.
Polychromy is in all likelihood more recent, as a few lacks let appear some remains of more ancient colors.
Very good condition, right arm and flap of the shroud on the back have been repaired (see pictures).
