Pair of enameled vases, hand-painted in Minakari, an ancestral technique of enameling on copper, originating from Isfahan, Iran, early 20th century. In very good collectible condition, a small shock which in no way spoils the quality of the objects.
Each vase is decorated with mandorlas of Persian miniatures, forest animals, birds, hunting scenes, and polo scenes.
Work of remarkable finesse, each mandorla is separated by two pendants, birds, and flowers.
The whole field is decorated with bench tracery on a blue background.
A border at the top and bottom of flowers.
