The beginning of the manufacture of Ghom carpets is set up in this city around 1920/1930 on the initiative and thanks to the perseverance of the knotters and merchants of Kashan.
The manufacture of these beautiful, very resistant rugs is certainly recent, but the skilful and precise knotters as well as the "Ostads" cartoonists have imposed their know-how thanks to the perfection of their work and the amplitude of the range of designs and colors.
