Louis XVI Centerpiece , Sterling Silver, Austro-hungarian Empire, Circa 1890-1910
Lovely little Louis XVI centerpiece in the shape of a palm tree pot ,in Austro-Hungarian solid silver with its polished brass interior. The goldsmith's hallmark is difficult to decipher (IS?), the guarantee hallmark is that of the greyhound's head for 800% silver. This little gem probably dates from just before 1900. Weight of the silver setting 270 grams.
