"Rectangular Game Table - XIXth"
Louis XV style rectangular game table. Its top is inlaid with marquetry of natural mahogany, lemon tree, light wood and stained wood on a frieze rosewood background, representing bouquets of flowers framed by floral motifs and foliage. It is also surrounded by a brass band and adorned at the corners with bronze buttons. A marquetry representing floral motifs is also present in a belt cut on all sides, echoing the top. The latter turns and unfolds in two, opening on the inside covered with a new green felt surrounded by a golden braid. It rests on 4 curved and sheathed legs in solid mahogany, adorned with decorations and bronze clogs.
Late 19th century period.
Perfect condition after high quality restoration, stripping and waxed patina in our workshop.
