French School Late Nineteenth : "la Lavandiere"

Late 19th century French school: “La lavandière”, enamelled terracotta tile 18.5 X 10 cm, a monogram “P” on the back. Chips on the edge. It's been on our shelf for more than 20 years, I was seduced by its Renoir side and the delicacy of the blended colors as by the unfinished sketch aspect... Well, that's it, a page turns: after 11 years of occupation, we are leaving our company apartment in Biarritz while waiting to find one of our own, but the Galerie de Biarritz is of course continuing its activity. But Nature and I abhor a vacuum, I let you imagine everything that was inside and the house where we are relocating may be big, I will have to separate little by little of a certain number of objects, furniture and paintings… So, it is the case to say it, they are from an excellent provenance!
