Inkwell In Gilt Bronze, In The Renaissance Taste - Late Nineteenth

Magnificent Inkwell in the Renaissance style in Gilded Bronze. On a rectangular base rest two ink receptacles with domed lids, note the lack of one of the glass containers. In the front part, two curved elements in the shape of a volute serve as a pen rest. The whole is very finely carved with flowers and foliage, and cornucopia motifs. This double inkwell will sumptuously decorate the desk on which you decide to place it, or can find another use in a bedroom as a small jewelry cache for example.
