Snuffbox Of Avaricious 19th Horn With Constraint Grip

Snuff box for powdered tobacco, snuff, polygonal shape, potted horn, white, honey and brown, built from two shells nailed to each other. A hinged cover gives off a two-lidded opening, which allows two fingers to make "a grip", but controls on exit that the grip is small .... no mess, most of a voracious grip remains in bottom .... Doubly greedy: the horn cover is lined with a double wooden stopper that closes tightly, no mess either that way.

Good condition, I have scrubbed the outside and slightly polished, it is very pleasant in hand.
